#AllsFairInBlogAndWar Giveaway

About the book:

No I'll-make-your-life-miserable kontrabidas.
No I'd-rather-die-than-to-live-without-you bidas.
Not a tragedy.
Not also a comedy.
Just a light story.

I started to love blogging 'cause this is my way to express myself.
It is also my way to thank our sponsors and co-bloggers for the freebies and gifts.

I get a little envious with Five Cuevas 'cause she was able to get an all-expense-paid trip to Macau.
Who wouldn't love that?
How I wish I'll get selected for such tour. :D

Through this book, I was able to tour Macau in one day.
And made me wonder, are egg tarts in Macau really delicious?

Enough with this, I don't want to be a spoiler. :D

I want to share my Macau experience with you!
Well, through this book.

So I'll be giving away one digital copy of All's Fair in Blog and War!!!!!!

But if you can't wait.......
you can purchase the book through:

Product Review: iWhite Korea Skin Whitening Vita Moisturizing Facial Wash

Hey dearest readers! I'm back with another product review with our beloved sponsor, iWhite Korea. Introducing, the iWhite Korea Skin Whitening Vita Moisturizing Facial Wash.

Product Description

It is a breakthrough scientific formula, refined by Bio Nanotechnology, making it more potent. It deeply cleanses, removes excess oils, and eliminates skin impurities without drying the skin.
It whitens, revitalizes, and improves skin condition for a more radiant complexion; helps prevent pimples and other skin irritations. It also has Vitamins C and E to protect skin from free radicals.

Packaging

The packaging is very simple. The squeeze - type tube is perfect if you want to bring the product when travelling. The sachet is easy to open, but not resealable. Both packaging contains the important information of the product.

My Experience

The facial wash is actually really creamy and I can feel my skin becoming smoother as I massage it all over my face. I really like the scent which is just right. However, it doesn't lather, which is something I look for on a facial wash. It's really gentle on the skin.

My Verdict

Here is a photo I took after using the product. No makeup and no filter. I actually love the result on my face. I rate it 8 out of 10. It is so refreshing and I can feel the softness of my face. Definitely a good buy for just 18 pesos! I recommend using iWhite Korea Aqua Moisturizing Cream after. Its the perfect pair for me 'cause it keeps me refreshed all day long. Just the two products on my morning routine and I'm ready to go! :)

Fall Out Boy Experience: Saving Rock and Roll

I have no idea that I would be able to watch Fall Out Boy live in Manila until 4 hours before the concert. I received a text message from MCA Music that I won 2 tickets from Smart Music to watch FOB live! Lucky me!! :D I received the text message around 5pm and I was asked to claim the tickets at Smart Araneta Coliseum before 6pm. You could just imagine how much I panicked that time. Good thing I was just around Manila and it was just one lrt ride away. Haha.

Being able to watch FOB live is already a dream come true, but when we arrived to claim our tickets, they said that we will also take part in the meet and greet! We just couldn't hide our happiness and excitement that time. The concert started at 9pm and ended around 10:30pm.

Smart Araneta Coliseum was jampacked!

I just love Pete so much!

With Fall Out Boy

The Save Rock and Roll Experience was truly amazing! It was undeniably a night to remember. :)

Store Review: THBoxes.com

After waiting for 2 months, our package from THBoxes has arrived :) Wondering why it took so long? The first package sent was lost on its way that's why they need to send a second one. Anyway, it was worth the wait. I was thrilled when I saw the necklace they've sent. It was just as expected, exactly like the image shown on their site. :) It's perfect to wear on a daytime, and can still rock your night outfit. What I love more is that it is really light, you won't notice you're wearing it!

Hidden Paradise ~ Burot Beach

Looking for the perfect summer getaway for your barkada? Been wanting to go on the beach but short on the budget? Well then, you've come to the right site! Let me introduce to you a hidden paradise in the South..

BUROT BEACH

Sunset at Burot Beach

My friends and I have been planning to go to the beach since the start of the year and because we are still students, we looked for a place that can fit our budget. We've come across different options but only one place caught our attention.

We had our summer escapade last May 3 til May 4, 2013

The sky is perfect for our getaway!!

The adventure team, less the photographer... and the cook. Lol

We dropped by the supermarket first for our "baon" because there are no stores near the area. (Yes, it is kinda secluded)

We love the Beach!!
Burot Beach is located in Calatagan, Batangas. It is a private property which is now owned by Mr. Henry Sy. (The security guards roaming the place has the logo of SM on their uniform. Lol) It is an estimated 4-5 hours drive from Manila to Burot. The place is really hard to find, that's why most of the visitors rely on private transportation. Good thing one of our friend has a van that we could use. The entrance fee was P130 per head if staying overnight. You could also rent a table for P200 and tent for P300(I think?)

I can't really give you instructions on "how to get there", but as far as I could remember, we drive to the main town of Calatagan and the locals can lead you to Burot .:)

We arrived just in time for sunset
My favorite sunset pic of myself. Haha.

We explored the place as soon as we arrived. The place was truly amazing. It was my first time to witness sea creatures in actual life. Haha. Electricity haven't reached the area yet that's why it is really dark at night. It is the best place for bonfire! You can buy panggatong in the area for P200. However, we preferred to look for our own panggatong instead to save money. =)) We rent a torch to serve as a light for P70.

We recommend bring your own water!
The water sold in the area looks like this
Eating up to gain energy!

Perfect time to capture this lifelong memories! <3
SUNSET
The horizon after the sunset

There are so many beautiful areas in the place! Explore as much as you can!

Wacky!!

When darkness came, we decided to make our bonfire. Don't let darkness stop you from wandering around!  Because it is low tide, many sea creatures are at the shallow part of the water. There are different kinds of sea species like fish, mudskipper, jellyfish, crabs, shrimp, sea urchin, sea snake, sea slug, hermit crab, star fish and more! I was really happy with what I saw! :) The sky was also filled with stars. I stared at the sky for about 30mins and I already saw 2 shooting stars! You can never experience that in the Metro, right?

Bonfire

Our friend is busy looking for panggatongs!
Perfect time for smores

Sea Urchin
Starfish
The beauty of Burot doesn't stop at sunset. The sunrise was amazing as well!

Wanting to make the most out of our vacation, we explored the area agin in the morning :) (PS. we are wearing the same clothes because we can't have a shower at night. There is no electricity in the area! Haha)

The explorers

We made a friend! This dog was guarding us throughout or stay. We named him 'Burot'

On our way back to Manila, we had a stop at Tagaytay for our some hot Bulalo. The view is always stunning!

The place is ideal for group outings and those who love campings. You have no choice but to stay beside the sea because there are no available cottages. The CR and the shower room are the only downside. Let's just say I rate it 4.5 out of 10. Haha.

Overall, the experience was amazing! It is really fun to go on a place where only nature matters. No electricity, no disturbances. Just the people you love and the memories you make.

Plan your trip now and discover the hidden paradise that is Burot beach :)
